Class Saints and Feast Days

 Children from Year One welcomed their parents to assembly on the 3rd April to celebrate St      Bernadette,their class saint. Everyone agreed that they treated their audience to a fantastic      performance.

 Here are some facts about St Bernadette:

 Tia: "St Bernadette saw Mary, the mother of Jesus in a cave."

 Jasmine: "St Bernadette came from a poor family."

 Rocco: "St Bernadette was born in France and she had 8 brothers and sisters."

 Steven: "We celebrate St Bernadette's day on the 16th April."

 Aimee: St Bernadette helped the poor and sick people."

  Year 3 celebrated St Vincent de Paul's feast day with a super assembly for

  parents and pupils.

  "We learnt that Vincent de Paul came from a poor family in France." (Dominik)

  "Vincent de Paul became a saint because he cared for poor people and

  beggars." Natalia.
