Foudation Stage. Miss Capel says: Chuba is my star of the week this week. He is brand new to the school having only started on Monday. He has been in school everyday and has settled so beautifully. Chuba has got to know the children and made lots of new friends. He is definitely a star for having amazing manners too!
Year 1. Mrs Le Grange and Miss Everitt say: Audrey, you have worked so hard over the last few weeks and I have been really impressed with your perseverance. Your video challenges have particularly impressed me and it been lovely to watch your confidence grow with these. This week I chose your wonderful weather report as I loved the effort that you put in and the brilliant vocabulary that you chose. Well done!
Year 2. Mrs Ralph and Miss Bishop say: Zofia this beginning to your alternative Jack and the Beanstalk story is fantastic and we cannot wait to read the end! Well done!
Year 3. Mrs Ayers says: Isaac, you are putting your heart and soul in every piece of work. You are very thoughtful while exploring RE questions and you are using your imagination and creativity in Topic work. You make me very proud and I like your bright smile on your home learning pictures.
Year 4. Mr Skellon says: I have chosen Rocco for my work of the week this week. He has worked so hard throughout the whole period we haven't been in school. This week he created an awesome droid for Star Wars day (May the 4th be with you!) using his own imagination and various materials. Well done Rocco! Awesome invention and imagination.
Year 5. Mrs Bishop says: Nadia is my star of the week. I have chosen her, not only because of her continued effort with her home learning but for the improvements she is making with her writing. Her new ideas for our story were written beautifully. (I have attached this). She has also done some fabulous work with description which I used as a good example on our class page last week.
Year 6. Miss Alvis says: I have chosen Kenny this week as he has worked so hard in all of his learning. He has been proactive in his work and has always produced high quality work, taking no short cuts. Here are two of my favourite pieces from this week: a fact file on William Blake and a poem analysis, comparing four different poems.
