On Tuesday we managed to get the pupils back out onto the field. The pupils were very excited and enjoyed themselves immensely. We did this with the hard work of the lunchtime team who planned the whole 'operation' to ensure our pupils could play safely. In the short term, we hope to use the field every Tuesday, weather permitting. Presently, one day is all we can offer as we have to employ additional staff to manage the perimeters of the field, take pupils across to use toilets, cross the road, supervise pupils who are still eating, supervise first aid and supervise pupils whose parents do not want them to use the field in the playground. We do have a more long term plan in progress to allow us access everyday and we will keep you updated.

Day 2 of Kilve Court

The children had a great first day, ending with a night walk to try and tire them out. They all slept (eventually - they were very excited) and woke up to sunshine this morning. All had happy faces! Today they chose mountain bike riding or high ropes and were all very excited. It did rain this afternoon but spirits were not dampened.

I am going to see them tomorrow and will come back with more news!

Mrs Gillman

The pupils have arrived safe and well at Kilve Court.

They have organised their rooms, had lunch and set off for afternoon activities.

All of them are smiling and there hasn't been any tears!

Hopefully, we will get some pictures to post tomorrow!
