Applying to Start School

If you have a child born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020, then now is the time to apply for a place at our school for admission from September 2024 onwards.

A child can start school in September after they turn 4.

Please follow the link below to apply for a school place for your child.

The online form for starting school applications will open on 25 September 2023

The closing date for starting school applications is 15 January 2024.

If your child is Catholic, you must also provide a copy of the baptism certificate to the school by this date.

How you find out which school you’ve been offered

If you applied online by 15 January 2024, you will receive an email with the outcome of your application on 16 April 2024. If you applied using a paper application form your outcome will be sent out by second class post on 16 April 2024.

From 16 April 2024 you can also view the outcome of your application by logging into your citizen portal.

Open sessions

We invite prospective parents to come and view the school with their child. We have 2 open sessions available for you to come and have a look around our school and see how we work on a typical day.

Our open sessions are:

Applying to join the school in Years 1 - 6

If you would like your child to join us in Years 1 - 6, then you need to apply by either using our in-year admission form or through the council directly. Once you have completed an application form our board of Governors will review the application according to our Admissions Policy and inform you of the outcome in writing.
